Life Lessons I Learned From Dr. Seuss
You might be wondering why I would write a book like this? The answer is simply I saw a need. In today’s society there are millions of people who feel hopeless, stuck. They don’t see any value in living, they have no self-worth. I believe every life is precious, everyone has worth, most people just haven’t discovered what that means for them, yet.
This book, Life Lessons I Learned From Dr. Seuss, contains 4 timeless principles for success in life. Even though it was written mainly for teens and young adults the reality is these lessons have value to everyone no matter what stage of life they are in. I’ve had many people in the 70’s and beyond who have told me they loved it as well.
If you’re looking to add value, meaning and purpose to your life then this book is for you. The lessons are short and to the point, the book can usually be read in 20-30 minutes, but I would suggest taking your time, reading each lesson, and then asking yourself how you could apply it to your circumstances.

First
If you know another Christian contact them, tell them of your experience and ask them to guide you. It is most important that you find someone to talk to and pray with.
Second
Pray. That simply means talking to God, having a conversation with Him. He hears your every word. Ask Him to help you find someone to teach you.
Third
Buy a good New Testament Bible. I recommend the New Believers Bible by Greg Laurie or the New Living Translation, but any easy-to-read bible is a good starting place. Open it to the Gospel of John to start and just keep reading from there.
Fourth
Find church that teaches directly from the bible. Not a religious group, like the Catholic, Jehovah Witness or Mormon.

The Shiny Head Preacher
Many laugh when they see the name I used when writing these books, Shiny Head Preacher. Those who know me understand. Years ago, I lost my hair, can’t change that, so I decided to accept it, and make the most of it. It has been said that I look like Mr. Clean but obviously I couldn’t use his name, so I became the Shiny Head Preacher, Preacher for short. Also, I don’t want to draw attention to myself, I’d much rather you focused on the message.
I’ve lived in and travelled extensively across America and Australia. Through the years, as a speaker I’ve addressed many thousands of people from every walk of life. When people ask what my nationality is I say I’m a bitza. A bitza this and a bitza that. In dog terms I’d be a mutt.
I believe in turning weaknesses into strengths, accepting the things I can’t change and making the most of the things I can. My purpose is to help my audience overcome the obstacles of life, find their identities, and improve their futures. I use motivation, some humor and real examples in order to help people recognize areas, mindsets that need to be changed in order to break out of their current cycle of life.
